Best chlorine shampoo

Having started swimming recently, I found that my scalp was becomng very irritated and my hair dry and dull. As a shampoo, this product removes all traces of chlorine so I no longer have these worried after swimming, and without having to wear a swim cap! It is so useful as a body cleanser as well, again removing the chlorine so you can go out after showering at the swimming baths without worrying about that chlorine smell. It is brilliant as it saves packing loads of products in my wash bag, instead I have just one bottle!For the same reason, it is a must to take on holiday. If you'll be in the pool it removes the chemicals, and it also cleanses your hair and body of the salt after swimming in the sea.It moisturises so well that I happily use it in place of my usual Scalp Remedy shampoo if I'm going away for any length of time.

This is a "must have" for your holidays especially if you have coloured or highlighted hair. I purchased this, the conditioner and the daily spray and for the first time ever didn't have straw for hair for the duration of my holiday. It mattered not whether I went in the sea or the pool, this "trio" of products kept my hair in tiptop condition. I kept this for holiday use only and managed 2 x 2 weeks holidays with the cleanser and conditioner, the spray is still going strong. Well Done Aveda - a product not to be missed and I won't be without it next holiday.

pros:
This is an exceptional shampoo. For the first time I did not return from a beach holiday with brown skin and yellow straw hair. Remarkably it removes chorine and leaves hair shiny and strong all holiday long. The fact it doubles as body was is an extra bonus.

pros:
I bought this for my daughter to use after swimming. Her hair had begun to feel sticky and the hairdresser recommended getting a shampoo to wash out chlorine .We as a family have used Aveda for years so I am a fan anyway but this product really does work and smells gorgeous.Will definitely get some in for holidays .

pros:
I use this as a body wash after swimming and find it great. It helps minimise the chlorine smell and doesn't dry my skin out at all - even if I forget to moisturise. I do occasionally use it on my hair as a detoxifier and, again, it doesn't leave my hair dry.

pros:
I go swimming about 3 times a week, my was sticky and smelled of chlorine. Since using Aveda After Sun Hair and Body Wash it feels great and doesn't smell. Plus I want to go swimming more often just to have the pleasure of using it!

I've tried other brands and this one's just the best: my fine and coloured, overprocessed hair looks gorgeous despite exposure to chlorine at the pool three times a week. Doesn't dehydrate my sensitive skin, on the plus side. Nice smell, too.
